Signature Extractor

Turn a phone photo of your handwritten signature into a clean, transparent PNG.

Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.

How Signature Extractor works

The paper colour is measured across the photo in small tiles, so shadows and uneven light are ignored. Pixels clearly darker than the paper become ink, with smooth edges, in the colour you choose, and everything else turns transparent. It is then cropped to the signature.

Input: JPG, PNG, HEIC. Output: PNG.

How to use Signature Extractor

  1. Sign on white paper and take a photo.
  2. Drop the photo here.
  3. Adjust ink strength and colour.
  4. Download the PNG and place it with Sign PDF.

Tips

  • Most image tools accept many files at once.
  • WebP and AVIF give much smaller files than JPG at the same visual quality.
  • Set a default image quality in Settings. Tools that do not choose their own quality use it.
