Font Renamer
Change a font family name, style, weight, italic flag, version and designer, then save TTF, WOFF or WOFF2.
Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.
How Font Renamer works
Only the name table, the OS/2 weight and style bits and the head style flags are rewritten with fonteditor-core, so the glyphs stay exactly the same. Apps then list the font under the new name, which fixes clashes between two versions of one font.
Input: TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2, EOT. Output: TTF, WOFF, WOFF2.

- No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
- Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
- Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
