Spotify History Stats

Open your Spotify data export and see listening hours, top artists, tracks, albums and podcasts, by month and hour, with skips and CSV.

Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.

How Spotify History Stats works

Your export is read inside this tab. Nothing is uploaded, no account or login is needed, and closing the tab clears it. Both Spotify files are read: account data (StreamingHistory_music, endTime and msPlayed) and Extended streaming history (Streaming_History_Audio, with skips, albums and platforms). A play counts after 30 seconds, like Spotify, and you can change that.

Input: ZIP, JSON. Output: CSV.

How to use Spotify History Stats

  1. Ask Spotify for your data in Account, Privacy settings.
  2. Drop the ZIP or the history JSON files.
  3. Pick minutes or plays, and a date range if you like.
  4. Read your tops and charts, and download CSV files.

Tips

  • Exports hold your private messages, places and habits. Here they are read inside the tab and never uploaded.
  • Most services take from a few minutes to a few days to prepare an export, so ask early.
  • Keep the original ZIP. These tools never change it.

Spotify History Stats FAQ

Which Spotify download should I ask for?
Account data arrives in a few days and covers the last year. Extended streaming history takes up to 30 days but covers your whole account, with skips, albums and platforms. Both work here.
Why are my numbers different from Wrapped?
Wrapped covers January to about October and Spotify does not publish its exact rules. Here a play counts after 30 seconds by default, and you can change that.
Are my files uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
