PDF to HTML

Convert a PDF into a clean responsive web page, or an exact-looking page with selectable text.

Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.

How PDF to HTML works

Reflow mode rebuilds headings, paragraphs, lists and tables from the PDF text into semantic HTML with readable CSS. Exact mode renders each page with PDF.js and places an invisible, selectable text layer on top. Both produce one self-contained file.

Input: PDF. Output: HTML.

How to use PDF to HTML

  1. Open PDF to HTML and add your source file (or paste content where offered).
  2. Adjust page size, quality or layout options in the side panel.
  3. Check the live preview.
  4. Convert and download the result.

Tips

  • Conversions run entirely in your tab, so very large files depend on your device’s memory.
  • For best fidelity, start from the original digital file rather than a scan.

PDF to HTML FAQ

Are my files uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
