HTML to PDF

Paste HTML or a URL and convert it into a PDF.

Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.

How HTML to PDF works

HTML to PDF runs entirely in your browser. Paste HTML or a URL and convert it into a PDF. Under the hood it uses jsPDF (a client-side PDF generator) and html2canvas (renders HTML into a canvas so it can be placed into a PDF). Your files are read into this tab’s memory, processed on your own CPU, and handed back to you as a download. Nothing is sent to a server.

How to use HTML to PDF

  1. Open HTML to PDF and add your source file (or paste content where offered).
  2. Adjust page size, quality or layout options in the side panel.
  3. Check the live preview.
  4. Convert and download the result.

Tips

  • Conversions run entirely in your tab, so very large files depend on your device’s memory.
  • For best fidelity, start from the original digital file rather than a scan.

HTML to PDF FAQ

How does converting a URL work?
On the Vercel deployment, the optional /api/fetch-page route fetches the public page’s HTML (only the URL is sent). On static hosts you can paste HTML directly instead.
Are my files uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
