HPGL / PLT Viewer
View HPGL and PLT plotter files, hide pens, and convert them to SVG, DXF or PDF at true size.
Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.
How HPGL / PLT Viewer works
The plotter commands (pen up and down, absolute and relative moves, arcs, circles and pen changes) are replayed into lines, then drawn at 0.025 mm per plotter unit. Each pen gets its own colour and can be hidden.
Input: PLT, HPGL, HPG. Output: SVG, DXF, PDF.
How to use HPGL / PLT Viewer
- Drop a .plt or .hpgl file.
- Hide pens you do not need.
- Download SVG, DXF or a true size PDF.
Tips
- Nothing is uploaded. Your files stay in this browser tab.
HPGL / PLT Viewer FAQ
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
- Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
- Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
