HDR & EXR Viewer

Open OpenEXR and Radiance HDR images, adjust exposure and tone-map them to PNG, JPG, WEBP or AVIF.

Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.

How HDR & EXR Viewer works

Files are decoded to 32-bit floating point with the three.js EXR and HDR loaders. Exposure and an ACES, Reinhard, filmic or clip tone curve map the high dynamic range to standard sRGB, entirely on your CPU.

Input: EXR, HDR, PIC. Output: PNG, JPG, WEBP, AVIF.

How to use HDR & EXR Viewer

  1. Drop an EXR or HDR file.
  2. Adjust exposure (an automatic starting value is picked for you).
  3. Choose a tone-mapping curve.
  4. Download as PNG, JPG, WEBP or AVIF.

Tips

  • Hover over the image to read the raw float values of a pixel.
  • ACES gives a natural film-like look for HDRI skies.
