How Pro Image Converter works

Common formats are decoded with fast in-browser codecs (UTIF for TIFF, the Squoosh codecs for JPEG XL, QOI and AVIF, and built-in readers for TGA, Netpbm and icons). Everything else goes through ImageMagick compiled to WebAssembly, which is downloaded once (about 15 MB) only when you need it.
