AI Writing Helper

Fix grammar, change tone, shorten, expand, make bullet points or draft a reply with an AI that runs in your browser.

Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.

How AI Writing Helper works

A small instruction model (Qwen2.5, 0.5B or 1.5B) runs in a Web Worker with Transformers.js, on the GPU through WebGPU when available and on the CPU otherwise. If the GPU fails it switches to the CPU on its own. The text streams in as it is written, and Cancel stops it at once.

Input: Text. Output: Text.

How to use AI Writing Helper

  1. Paste your text.
  2. Pick what to do, or type your own instruction.
  3. Press Write and watch the result appear.
  4. Copy it or keep refining.

AI Writing Helper FAQ

Are my files uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
