WebAssembly Inspector

See the sections, imports, exports with signatures, memory and toolchain of any .wasm file.

Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.

How WebAssembly Inspector works

The binary format is read section by section: types, imports, functions, tables, memory, exports, and custom sections like name and producers. The module is never run, and the browser also says whether it can compile it.

Input: WASM. Output: JSON.

How to use WebAssembly Inspector

  1. Drop a .wasm file.
  2. Read exports, imports and sections.
  3. Download the report as JSON.

Tips

WebAssembly Inspector FAQ

Are my files uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
