Toxic Comment Checker
Score comments and messages for toxicity, insults, threats and hate, privately in your browser.
Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.
How Toxic Comment Checker works
Each line, sentence or paragraph is scored by a BERT model fine tuned for toxic comments (six labels: toxic, severe, obscene, threat, insult and identity hate). It runs in a Web Worker on the GPU or CPU, with progress and Cancel.
Input: Text. Output: CSV.
How to use Toxic Comment Checker
- Paste comments, one per line.
- Set the score that counts as flagged.
- Check them and read the labels.
- Download the scores as CSV.
Tips
- Nothing is uploaded. Your files stay in this browser tab.
Toxic Comment Checker FAQ
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
- Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
- Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
