SQL on CSV & Excel

Run SQL queries on CSV, Excel and JSON files, join them together, and export the result.

Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.

How SQL on CSV & Excel works

Every file and sheet is loaded into an in-memory SQLite database (sql.js, compiled to WebAssembly) as its own table with guessed column types. You can join, filter, group and sum with normal SQL.

Input: CSV, TSV, XLSX, ODS, JSON, JSONL. Output: CSV, JSON, SQLITE.

How to use SQL on CSV & Excel

  1. Drop one or more data files.
  2. Click a table or column to insert it, or start from an example.

  4. Export CSV or JSON, or save everything as a SQLite file.
