Sketch Whiteboard

Infinite whiteboard with shapes, arrows, text and sticky notes.

Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.

How Sketch Whiteboard works

Sketch Whiteboard is an infinite canvas rendered with Canvas 2D, with hand-drawn (rough) or clean styles. Boards autosave in your browser’s local storage, can be exported as PNG, SVG or a .openfile.json scene, and can be shared as a compressed link that contains the whole drawing. There is no server.

How to use Sketch Whiteboard

  1. Open Sketch Whiteboard.
  2. Adjust the controls. The preview updates in real time.
  3. Fine-tune values until it looks right.
  4. Copy the generated code or export the asset.

Tips

  • Press ? on the board to see every shortcut.
  • Add frames (F) and press Alt+P to present them as slides.
  • Save to a file (Ctrl+S) for backups. Browser storage can be cleared.

Sketch Whiteboard FAQ

Are my files uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
