How JSON Repair & JSON5 works

Repair uses the jsonrepair library, which adds missing quotes, commas and brackets, strips comments, turns Python True, False and None into JSON, and closes data that was cut off. JSON5 mode uses the reference json5 parser.

Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.

Does it work offline?

Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
