Gear Generator
Make involute spur gears from teeth and module, with bore and backlash, as DXF or SVG.
Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.
How Gear Generator works
Each tooth flank follows a true involute curve from the base circle to the tip, with the root circle between teeth, from the standard formulas (pitch diameter = module x teeth). It also tells you the centre distance for a mating gear.
Output: DXF, SVG.
How to use Gear Generator
- Set the number of teeth and the module.
- Pick the pressure angle, bore and backlash.
- Download DXF or SVG.
