G-code Viewer
See 3D printer, CNC and laser G-code layer by layer in 3D, with print time, filament and size.
Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.
How G-code Viewer works
Every move is read in your browser (G0, G1, arcs, relative and absolute modes, inches and millimetres) and drawn as lines with three.js. Time comes from move lengths and feed rates, filament from the E values.
Input: GCODE, NC, NGC, TAP. Output: PNG, CSV.
How to use G-code Viewer

- Drag the layer slider to see the print build up.
- Turn travel moves on or off.
- Read the time, filament and size.
Tips
- Nothing is uploaded. Your files stay in this browser tab.
G-code Viewer FAQ
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
- Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
- Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
