How Favicon Generator works

Favicon Generator runs entirely in your browser. Full icon packs: ICO, Apple Touch, Android, manifest and HTML. Under the hood it uses Canvas 2D (the browser’s hardware-accelerated 2D drawing surface). Your files are read into this tab’s memory, processed on your own CPU, and handed back to you as a download. Nothing is sent to a server.

How to use Favicon Generator

1. Open Favicon Generator.
2. Adjust the controls. The preview updates in real time.
3. Fine-tune values until it looks right.
4. Copy the generated code or export the asset.

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.

Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?

Does it work offline?

Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
