How Card Maker works
Templates are drawn with Canvas 2D at 300 DPI and exported with jsPDF at the exact physical size. Optional 3 mm bleed and crop marks make the file ready for print shops, and business cards can be laid out on a full A4 or Letter sheet with cut guides.
Input: JPG, PNG. Output: PDF, PNG, JPG.
How to use Card Maker
- Pick a template.
- Type your text, add a photo, and adjust colours and fonts.
- Turn on bleed if a print shop will cut the cards.
- Download the PDF, the sheet, or a PNG.
Tips
- Keep important text at least 3 mm from the edge.
- Print sheets at 100% scale.

- Is my file uploaded?
- No. Everything runs in this browser tab on your own device. Engines are downloaded once and cached, but your files never leave your computer.
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
- Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
- Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
